When you are beginning as an entrepreneur and you are getting started from the scratch, it’ really hard to make a reputation. Essential has been on the mind and praises of everyone since people came to know about it. It is a smartphone mobile company, recently last weekend it has begun the phone deliveries to its customers, who have pre-ordered for it.

Email Forwarding Problem:

To start the shipping process, Essential asked its customer to complete the final payments and provide the shipping details. But when these emails were sent to the customer, there comes to happen some problem with it. Essential asked for the shipping information, but the email was inexplicably forwarded to the whole list of the customers. That’s something frustrating and worrying matter that the same email got forwarded to 70 of those customers, who have been already asked for it in the first place.

Andy Rubin’s Statement:

Yesterday, we made an error in our customer care function that resulted in personal information from approximately 70 customers being shared with a small group of other customers. We have disabled the misconfigured account and have taken steps internally to add safeguards against this happening again in the future. We sincerely apologize for our error and will be offering the impacted customers one year of LifeLock.
