Shopify has added a new sales channel eBay for the merchants. The already avenues that it had were, Amazon, Facebook, Pinterest and BuzzFeed along with many more. eBay is the Latest addition, where a large audience of potential customers is present and it will give Shopify an extra opportunity in bringing their wares in front of the folks.

What eBay Integration would do?

With the new eBay integration with Shopify immediate syncing of the inventory would come into play. It will include the product title, description, prince and the specific details of an item. All the orders made on eBay will also be imported to the Shopify for fulfillment. So all the messages from eBay buyers would be sent via Shopify platform. The new channel integration isn’t going live immediately though. The Shopify says, this eBay integration is going to get live in fall this year. First of all its availability will roll out to U.S merchants who are selling within the country. For the merchants it is something which they should look forward to because this will represent the audiences up to 169 million active shoppers as per the numbers of eBay. Shopify has revealed that almost 60% of its merchants on its platform are selling through at least two different channels. As Shopify will now build on its centralized sales hub, thus this number and average will grow even further. This certainly is the biggest strength Shopify is thought to build upon in the market. This will help the company to grow further and build up a significant lead upon its competitors.
