Amazon announced last week that the ads wouldn’t be displayed anymore on the lock screen of the discounted smartphones that the company used to sell to Prime Customers. For those customers who have already paid to remove ads from the Prime Exclusive devices in the past, the company is going to refund them completely. They will get it back in the shape of credit at Amazon.com.

Ads Blocking

The customers who were willing to remove ads from their Prime Exclusive smartphones were supposed to pay a onetime fee up to $50. Thus the ads could be disabled to let them use their devices hassle-free. That lineup of the smartphones includes LG G6, Moto X4,Moto G5 Plus, Nokia 6 and many more. All these devices are unlocked and work across different mobile networks.

Refund Time

Amazon has said that those customers who have paid to remove the ads from their Prime Exclusive products should expect the refunds within two to three days.
