Amazon has just planned to release a new drone that could actually carry a battery charger for the electric cars. Using this drone the car battery would be delivered to the people stuck on their way because of the sudden battery void. So that will help them to get fueled-up enough, to get to the nearest charging station.

The Challenging Aspect:

The most challenging aspect for these drones would be to carry the weight of the battery. Because all the other drones are capable of carrying lightweight cargo with them to a limited distance. So, will this drone be able to carry the weight of a battery and make it to the destination where the driver needs help? The drone is required to be heavy-duty kind one, which is capable of carrying a battery’s weight to successfully make it to the place where the help is required. Other Challenges:Some of the other challenges that might be the hurdle in making this thing really happen is, to achieve the rooftop docking station where it can land. So as long as the car is moving on its way, this drone also keeps moving to provide continuous power to it. That means, after purchase the modifications and help from the automakers would also be required.

Right now it doesn’t seem to be a realistic concept. But if the drone of such potential is achieved somehow, then it will be a really huge success. It will certainly bring things to a further advanced level to add so much to the convenience of the mankind.
