Voting for Uber CEO:
On Sunday night, the board of the Uber had voted unanimously for Khosrowshahi over GE’s Jeff Immelt and the CEO of the HP, Meg Whitman. But officially there has been no announcement yet from the CEO of Expedia “Khosrowshahi” that he has finalized to join Uber. Another important thing to notice is, Dara Khosrowshahi is yet the CEO of Expedia for the time being.
Uber's Former CEO:
There are some important things for the Expedia CEO to think about, and work out on. One of the most important thing is the future role of the former CEO of the Uber “Travis Kalanick’s” in the company. He has stepped down from his position after the #DeleteUber movement.
The movement was run because of his sexist company culture accusations. Although he has resigned from the position of the CEO but he still holds the control of the Uber’s board and has got the majority of shares as well.
