Grindr which is one of the most popular and rising transgender app has just updated its dating app further. The latest update will make the app more gender specific. So, it will help the transgender to make their social circle with more ease.There are more gender neutral terms which have been added to the app. Now the users would also be able to write their gender identity in their gender section. They are now privileged to add a gender or pronouns. If they don’t find their gender identity in the list, then they could specify the specific pronouns on their own as well. In addition to all that the gender-neutral language is used all across the app. As well as, the FAQs have been explained now to facilitate the transgender.

The Gender Options:

Following are some of the gender options that have been updated in the app:

“trans man”
“woman”
“cis man”
“non-binary”
“non-conforming”
“queer”

These all options have been added in the latest update. So, it will facilitate them to express their identities in a better way. It will also help them to link up with each other and create their own social circle according to their own preferences. Grindr Director: The Director of the app, Jack Harrison-Quintana said: “We created written resources linked from the gender identity fields in the profile to answer cis users’ questions and decrease that burden on Trans-people.”
