What the Update?
The latest update is the live location sharing feature which has been introduced in the Uber apps. With the help of this feature, the user’s live location would be shared with the driver. It means even if the user is moving a bit from his original location, the driver would be able to see it at his end live on his app. Thus, it will allow the driver to reach exact destination without any delay in time.
How to use it?
Using this feature is really easy, not a rocket science at all. You can simply turn on the “live location” feature with an icons which is tap-able. This icon will be present at the right corner of the app screen. When that icon is blue, it means the live location sharing feature is active. Whereas, when it’s grey then this means the feature is off. With a single tap you can shift between two modes easily anytime.

This feature is going to bring more convenience for the users as well as for the drivers. The drivers can now reach the exact destination without any delays. At the same time, the riders would be able to save a lot of their precious time.
