The AIBO is back, these are the latest rumors coming out. Sony has remained away for more than a decade from the production of its own iconic robot pet brand. But now it will be resurrecting its robot per brand with a brand new model “Aibo” ERS-1000.

AIBO Robot:

It is being claimed by Sony that the new Aibo robot will have a strong emotional bond with the members of the household. It will provide them the love, affection and joy of raising and nurturing a companion. The ultra-compact actuators are there to allow the body of this robot dog to move on 22 axes. Whereas, its eyes have the two OLED panels, to show the range of the expressions. The battery life of this robot is around two hours. Whereas, the recharge time is about three hours.

About Robot Behavior:

The behavior of the Aibo is adaptable, Sony said. It is like a dog seeking out their owners. They learn what makes their owner happy. These goals are actually achieved with the deep learning technology. It helps the dogs to analyze sounds and images which they have been receiving through Aibo’s sensor arrays. For the learning purposes and better experience it uses the cloud data of other Aibo units and owners.

Sale and Orders:

It is now available in Japan for the pre-order. Its sale will start on 11th January 2018. As far as the release outside Japan is concerned. There are yet no such plans to release it outside the homeland of the Sony. The cost of this Aibo Robot Dog is about $1.700, which is equal to 198,000 yen.
