The prices of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch has shifted a lot over a year. The final bundled price for it will now settle at $399. Whereas its initial price was set at $798 which was then brought to $598 to $499 to $399 and then again to $499. But now the price has been fixed at $399.There has been no update yet on the headset or controllers. The devices are the same as they were initially shipped. But the prices now have been lowered to $399 which is almost half of the initial price.
What makes the Best Deal?
In the PC VR, the deal of the headset makes the Oculus VR the best deal. It undercuts the Microsoft’s high-end VR partner and the HTC’s Vive headset prices. Right now, the Oculus has made its prices relatively cheap to provide a high-end VR face to the customers.
