Samsung at MWC 2018-Launching Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus
2017 was both a tough and good year for the leading Korea-based smartphone company, Samsung. Tough because Samsung Vice Chairman ‘Jay Y Lee’ was found guilty for corruption and underwent a few months trial which somehow damaged the company profile. While on the other hand, its flagship launch Galaxy Note 8 earned very good revenues for the company.
But now Samsung’s expectations are again very high from its 2018 first flagship devices i.e. Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus. Huawei has some mixed history at MWC as it does not always launch its flagship devices rather sometimes it launches its new mobile phones only. The latest GIF teaser on Huawei Twitter account is stating the “Experience New Horizons” slogan. So fingers are crossed; let’s see with what innovative thing Huawei comes up at MWC 2108.
LG usually launches at MWC as it has maintained its record of launches at the biggest mobile show of the world. But this time, there are fewer chances that LG lovers from across the world will get any new flagship as the company has disclosed very less up till now about LG G7.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2 is highly expected to be launched at this MWC. Reason being that Sony has launched the predecessor of this smartphone “Sony Xperia XZ Premium” at MWC 2017.
The leaked information of Xperia XZ Premium 2 indicated that this smartphone could be the real powerhouse as it will be launched with Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB RAM, a dual-lens rear camera and much more. The device may come with complete new design and a whole new name as a diversion from its predecessor.
The 2017 show of MWC proved to be the brand’s uplifting event as the nostalgic Nokia 3310 was the show stopper at that year. This year, Nokia 9 or may be Nokia 9 Pro is going to be launched at the show. But let’s see if Nokia will catch enough audience or not?
Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its flagship smartphone Mi 7 at the event. According to the rumors, Xiaomi Mi7 will come with a 5.6-inch display, Snapdragon 845 chipset, octa-core CPU and the Adreno 630 GPU. Additionally, the phone may have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
