Amazon is updating the prices of its monthly membership plans for the customers. The prices are going to increase with this update. Those members who are not paying full year charges upfront, they would be supposed to pay more than what they were paying ago on a monthly basis.

What will be the new price?

The new price will go up from $10.99 per month to $12.99. As far as the $2 monthly increase is concerned, it doesn’t sound too much though. It is total 18 percent increase, and then the annual cost for the monthly subscription is going to reach $156, instead of $132.

Summing Up

Those subscribers who weren’t able to pay yearly cost one time, they were already paying extra for the Amazon Prime services. But now after the increase in monthly subscription charges, they would be paying an even higher amount as compared to the ones who have yearly plans. The annual plan is costing customers $99 only. Whereas the people who had been availing monthly subscription were bearing $132 annually and even that is increased further.
