0 0

On the first day of Gitex Technology, the Dubai Police has unveiled the latest innovations to take a step further to control the crimes. The one that got more attention was the Hoversurf Bike. It’s actually a cross between the motorcycle and drone. In the future very soon, the Dubai Police will be using it to reach the crime scenes without any hassles.

Features:

Driver or Driverless:

The four large propellers allows it to fly in the air. It can also seat a police officer and can be controlled remotely as well.

Maximum Height:

The maximum height it could reach is 5 meters with a rider. Whereas without a rider, it can reach the limit of 6km.

Fuel:

If it’s been charged with electricity, it can fly for up to 25 minutes. While with the traditional fuel, its ability increases to maximum one hour.
Speed:
It can fly at a speed of 70kmh and can carry 300kg weight.
360 Degree Cameras:
The Hoversurf bike also has the 360 degree cameras attached to it. The images taken from these cameras could be directly sent to the control room. This is another really big plus these bikes have and can be used effectively with a rider and even without a rider.
Summing Up:
These Hoversurf bikes are really a treat to watch. They look really awesome and are like a fantasy from the Batman Movies coming true. The inclusion of these Hoversurf Bikes to the vehicle lot of the Dubai Police would make it easy for the cops to reach the crime scenes even quickly. Sooner we will see them flying around the UAE for the purpose of regular patrolling and reaching the crime spots.
