There is a problem with British Airways. It’s now five times the new IT system launched by them has crashed within one year. And now, for the sixth time, it has crashed to create real concerns. As a result of the crash, all the flights from Heathrow and Gatwick were canceled. The Airline has told the passengers to not arrive at the airport because the flight schedules are infected by this crash. Apart from this delay, the website of the BA was also taken down for about 2 hours because of this crash and failure. The passengers are using Twitter to put up their complaints. The Twitter has really been flooded in this regards over past some hours.

Is it a Cyber-Attack?

The company hasn’t accepted yet, that it was a cyber-attack. However, some of the people and the BA staff actually think so. But on the part of the BA, there are likely fewer chances that it’s going to be a cyber-attack. Even though, we need to keep our minds open about anything.

Spokesman Release:

The British Airways Spokesman at 1 pm said that: “We have experienced a major IT system failure that is causing very severe disruption to our flight operations worldwide. The terminals at Heathrow and Gatwick have become extremely congested and we have canceled all flights from Heathrow and Gatwick before 6 pm UK time today, so please do not come to the airports.”
