The company mostly makes money with the paid listings. In the local listings the local home professionals and decorators could be found. Through the induction of the deep learning and AR products added to the website and apps, now Houzz is delving even more into direct commerce.

New Features:

Last time a deep learning tool was introduced which would analyze home photos added to the site, and enable the users to look for and buy the comparable products from the page directly. The newly added AR feature would help the users to see how a new piece of furniture would look like in reality, at a certain place in their house.

Total $400 Million Raised by Houzz:

Iconiq has led the newest funding round for Houzz, the Recode reported. The Houzz has been able to raise a total of $400 Million. Out of the total $400 Million, the investors like Sequoia, New Enterprise Associates, GGV Capital and others invested $200 in Houzz fundraising.
