Since February the Instagram users were found complaining about the “Disable” feature not working. It has been one of the most discussed issues and topic around many discussion forums like Quora, Reddit and Twitter. If you want to take a break from your social account, just like Facebook the Instagram also allows you to disable your account on a temporary basis.

How to Disable Instagram?

If you want to disable your Instagram account, you would need to access your account via mobile browser or your system. This feature, however cannot be availed through Instagram’s official app. By disabling your account, all your pictures, comments and likes are hire till you reactivate your account.

It’s been 3 months since this issue occurred:

Since February, the Instagram users have been complaining on various forums about the issue with disable feature which was not working. They were not able to successfully disable their account. Hence, all their posts, activities and likes, comments were still live on the app.

Big Concern:

That was a big concern for the users as well as for the Instagram, itself. There was no help and support from the technical staff either, in this matter. Most of the users were found yelling and making complaints about this issue and were asking Instagram about the issues behind it.

Recent News about Instagram Disable Feature:

Recently, we have noticed that when you try to disable your account it takes you to a page which says “Sorry Something Went Wrong! We are working on it, Will get Back soon!” The statement now suggests that the technical team is working now to fix this error and it will be resolved soon!
