Intel’s Shooting Star Mini Drone Indoor Light Show

Intel is well-known for its drone-based light shows, we all know that. They are also proud of airing a halftime show at the Superbowl. At CES, the company has just introduced a newer version of the same drone, called “Shooting Star Mini”.

What’s in Shooting Star Mini?

So what is the innovation here in Shooting Star Mini? It is the updated version of the same drone that Intel launched previously. It is tiny and is safe for indoor flying over the heads of audiences. These drones can also locate themselves in the space without even needing the GPS. You don’t need a single pilot for a single drone. Instead, a single pilot can pretty much fly 100 drones at a time.

Do you want to buy one?

If you are thinking of buying one, then sorry! Because you can’t find and buy it in the stores. It is not that kind of drone which is present in the stores, says CEO Brian Krzanich. It seems like they can be the perfect indoor drone toys but Intel is not up for it. They have planned to keep it for the light shows.
