iPhone 6 Batteries Won’t Be Replaced Until March

iPhone promised to replace iPhone 6 old batteries for $29 after its slowdown issues. A queue was there for the new parts, but the company just revealed that it wouldn’t be replacing any batteries until March. As far as the batteries for devices released before 2014 is concerned, Apple won’t replace them anyhow.The wait time for the replacement has fluctuated this time around. Apple made an offer earlier in December that it will start replacing the batteries for $29 from January. The wait time for the repair of iPhone devices is revealed to be as follows.
  • Two weeks for iPhone 6 and 6s.
  • Late March to early April for iPhone 6 Plus.
  • Batteries for iPhone 6s, 7, 7 Plus and iPhone SE will be available without extended delays.
These estimates were shared for the US region only. Other regions across Europe, Middle East and Africa may witness some delay or variation regarding the availability of these batteries.

Battery Replace Offer

Apple will start replacing the old batteries of the previously launched devices for $29 from December. That’s what Apple announced after different tests showed the slowdown of devices upon updating their software to latest iOS version.
