The Apple Watch Series 3 was reviewed by Joanna Stern for the WSJ. After reviewing it, her remarks were not really good about it. As her review feedback came out as “Apple Watch Series 3 Review: Untethered and Unreliable”. It was because some of the Apple watches had issues connecting with the LTE networks. This issue was said to be happening because of the software bug. But it’s no more there, as Apple has just released new watchOS update by fixing the LTE connectivity issues.

What was the Update?

The release of the WatchOS 4.0.1 was quite straightforward. The notes regarding this update were as follows: “watchOS 4.0.1 fixes issues that in rare cases were causing Apple Watch to join unauthenticated (captive) Wi-Fi networks, such as those found in public places like coffee shops and hotels, which direct the user to a webpage before the network can be accessed,” You can update your app by tapping “General” and then “Software Update”, it will lead you to download and install the new patch released. It just takes a while to update your WatchOS.
