Shedul Raised $6 Million for Hair Saloon Booking

The Shedul recently revealed that half of the Beauty parlors around the world are still using pen and paper for the appointments. So, this startup is now offering a scheduling software to the Beauty Saloon and Spa industry. This will erupt the industry. It is a free software which has already caught a lot of attention.

Shedul Fundraising:

With the help of the Dubai’s MEVP (Middle East Venture Partners) it has been to raise the funds of $6 Million. Their plan is to use this funding to bring more merchants, so they can build up a market place which is two-sided. There are also going to be some paid offerings in their booking technology.

Shedul Merchants and Partners:

Shedul has a presence all around the world in more than 120 countries, where it has 40,000 merchants. They have said that, they have been bringing an annual GMV of $1.5 billion. The CEO, William Zeqiri said that: “Growth is almost 100 percent organic, pure word of mouth”. He has also said that they are spending around $5,000 on the Google ads campaign.

Lumia Capital Partner:

The Lumia Capital partner of Shedul, Chris Rogers said that they have invested in Shedul because Shedul “has made best-in-class software accessible to the massive beauty industry, which still largely operates offline. We are extremely impressed with the company’s growth trajectory and are delighted to invest in the team.”

MEVP Managing Partner:

The Managing Partner at MEVP, named Walid Mansour has said that, Shedul has been able to achieve a remarkable growth over the period of last two years. The Shedul was launched in 2015, its seed funding was raised by the MEVP and Polar Light Ventures.
