Highly Paid Patent Ever:

Now, according to the sources, the Mobli’s co-founder Moshe Hogeg has recently sold the geo-filter patent to Snap for the record amount of $7.7M. Without any doubt, this is the highest amount ever paid by the Israeli Tech for acquiring a patent. This news was sooner confirmed by an email which was sent to 100 shareholders of the Mobli. Up till now, the most expensive patent that Israeli Tech has had so far, was the Google Maps Patent which was $2.7 Million. Now it has just broken the records by buying the Geo Filter patent for $7.7 Million.

Interest of the Facebook in Geo Filter:

Before the Snap, the sources also confirmed that Facebook was the one who was really ready to buy this patent. But, no one knows what the main reason behind the deal not occurring. The deal among the Mobli and Facebook was also serious. Facebook was interested 100% in acquiring this patent. But recently the news come out, “Snap Bought geo-filter from Mobli at $7.7 Million”.
