The Tesla’s Model X has been bestowed with the highest ever SUV ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration “NHTSA”. All the categories and sub-categories that are tested by the NHTSA were awarded 5-star ratings. In terms of the injury probability according to the NHTSA ranking system, the model X is only second to the Model S.

Tesla’s Unique Design:

Due to the electric powertrain, the unique design of the Tesla’s Vehicle safety performance is far too better. The battery pack which is bottom mounted spread across the vehicle’s base. This lowers down the center of gravity of the Tesla Model X, this plays a significant role in preventing the rollovers which is the weakest spot of SUVs that sits higher.

Higher Safety for the Passengers:

The prediction of the NHTSA about the safety chances of the passengers from the serious crashes in model X is 93%. In the tandem with the Model S reputation, this is a high honor for Tesla. So this means that the Model X surely is the best as far as the passenger’s safety is concerned.
