You would remember the time when the technology giant Amazon has decided to launch cable TV and internet service. You won’t believe that the “cable store” is no more.

It’s about a year ago when the Ecommerce giant launched the “cable store” website. Through this website, Amazon began reselling TV, the internet and phone bundles (Comcast services).

Difficult step:-

This step seems very difficult but not for the Ecommerce giant to be the biggest online shopping site on the internet.

Expansion of store:-

The company decided to expand the store in November 2016. The expansion is done as the company added frontiers to the list of service providers.

Ordering process:-

Amazon is the biggest Ecommerce website where the user can compare service provider’s plans and product details. Unlike the conventional buttons like “1-click checkout” or “Add to Cart”, the company added a new button “Proceed to Service Setup”. This new button will fasten the ordering process.

Offers about collaboration:-

After seeing the development projects of the Amazon, American cable telecommunications company, Charter was interested in doing a joint venture. Following the footsteps of Charter, another digital cable television company in the US, Cox also showed interest in doing a collaboration.

Customer reviews:-

Amazon charges reference fees for the registration of users on its website. According to Wall Street journal report, “60% of Amazon users reported an excellent experience, while only 2% users reported a poor experience”.

Others cable service advertisement:-

Amazon had the chance to sell its cable TV along with its products. They had the possibility to sell the Comcast’s cable service on its website. But, the company then decided not to launch the cable TV service.
